St. Patrick's Secondary School, Obollo Afor was founded in 1999 with a vision to nurture the holistic development of every individual—body, mind, and soul. Among the pioneer Catholic secondary schools in the Nsukka Ecclesiastical area, the school began with one hundred students and quickly grew, known for its academic excellence and deep moral discipline inspired by the foresight of its founder, Rev. Fr. Charles Onuh.
Over the years, the school has flourished under the guidance of dedicated clergy and lay leaders, now boasting over sixty staff and more than eight hundred students. St. Patrick's has achieved recognition for strong performances in BECE, WAEC, and NECO examinations, reflecting the motto: Scientia, Sanctitas, Bona Vita — Knowledge, Holiness, and Good Life.
The school continues to expand its facilities, including modern science and computer laboratories, a well-equipped library, and vocational training resources, while preparing to transition into a full boarding school. Through its faith-driven leadership and alumni support, St. Patrick's Secondary School remains committed to forming disciplined, knowledgeable, and compassionate leaders for tomorrow.
