Our History
Founded in 1999 under the visionary leadership of Rev. Fr. Charles Onuh, St. Patrick’s Secondary School, Obollo Afor, was established to provide holistic education — nurturing the mind, body, and soul. Beginning with just one hundred students, the school quickly grew due to its commitment to academic excellence and disciplined character formation.
Over the years, St. Patrick’s has remained steadfast in its mission to raise individuals of knowledge, holiness, and good life — *Scientia, Sanctitas, Bona Vita*. The school has earned recognition through outstanding performance in external examinations, strong moral culture, and the accomplishments of its alumni, who continue to contribute meaningfully to society.
With well-equipped laboratories, dedicated staff, and a firm grounding in Catholic values, the school is now preparing for its next chapter — transitioning into a full boarding model to further strengthen academic, spiritual, and personal formation.

Message from the Administrator
It is with gratitude to God that I welcome you to St. Patrick’s Secondary School, Obollo Afor. Our school was founded to shape young people into individuals of sound character, strong faith, disciplined conduct, and academic excellence. Here, education is not only about mastering knowledge, but about becoming fully human in mind, body, and spirit.
We uphold the ideals of our motto: Scientia, Sanctitas, Bona Vita — Knowledge, Holiness, and Good Life. These values guide every lesson taught, every decision made, and every life transformed within our care.
As we move forward into the next chapter of our growth, including our transition towards a boarding system, we remain committed to forming leaders who will contribute meaningfully to society, grounded in dignity, virtue, and excellence.
